Dr. Nancy Cappelloni works in private practice as an Educational Consultant in Marin County. She works with families and their children from preschool through middle school regarding learning, school, and academic concerns. She encourages excellence in research-based teaching practices and promotes meaningful and relevant learning.
Through high-quality instruction and a deep understanding of the stages and characteristics of child development, Dr. Cappelloni collaborates with families, schools, and support professionals to ensure the most effective support will address the unique needs of each child.
Dr. Cappelloni taught kindergarten from 1997-2011, preschool and prekindergarten from 1989-1996, and education courses in the School of Education at the University of San Francisco as an Adjunct Professor from 2010 to 2015.
For the past decade, Dr. Cappelloni has taught Kindergarten Readiness programs and leads professional development programs for early childhood, transitional kindergarten (TK), and kindergarten teachers. She taught and trained over 200 early childhood teachers at Kinderstar School in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam from 2014-2016, and trained over 100 early childhood educators at the Magic Learning School in Guangdong, China from 2016-2018.
